Calculation of Body Mass Index
As a Turkihs Medical Centers, we gave information on topics such as “What is Morbid Obesity?”, “Calculation of Body Mass Index”, “Surgical methods used in obesity”.
Knowing the height and weight of the person is sufficient to calculate the body mass index, and added that the result when we divide our weight by our height twice is the Body Mass Index. He stated that the result is underweight if it is below 18.5 kg/m2, normal weight if it is between 18.5-24.9 kg/m2, overweight if it is between 25-29.9 kg/m2, and obesity between 30-34.9 kg/m2.
