This service ‘Talk to a Physician Online’ is developed for our patients, who are in need of an examination or treatment by a physician but not able / prefer not to go to a hospital. Use this service to get an appointment remotely from wherever you are, have a video talk to your physician and, receive examination, diagnosis and analysis services.
The entire medical process during this service of ‘Talk to a Physician Online’ is carried out under the medical opinion and surveillance of a physician considering the conditions of the patient.
During the online appointment, the physician may decide that a physical examination is required and asks you to visit their polyclinic examination office, and then the organization for your physical organization is arranged by the “TMC Call Center”.
You may apply to any hospital and physician of your choice to ‘Talk to a Physician Online’ through the TMC Online Application.
During this service of ‘Talk to a Physician Online’, a TMC-appointed translator, who speaks your language, may serve you upon the request of the patient or the physician. This translation service is free.
How to Make an Application for the service of ‘Talk to a Physician Online’?

If this service is under the coverage of your health insurance, the respective healthcare institution will get the provision approval.
If you do not have a private health insurance or this service is not under the coverage of your insurance;

Confirmation of Your Application, Creation of an Appointment
Upon the completion of the provision or payment transaction, you will be informed that your appointment has been confirmed.
Your Physician and Translator Call You at the Appointment Time
Your physician will give you a video call at the appointment time through the type of communication you have preferred (WhatsApp / FaceTime / Skype etc.) and, the online video talk starts. During the talk, a translator who speaks your language will help you for your communication with the physician.
Length of Talk
A standard online talk takes 20 minutes.
In case a Physical Examination is Required by Your Physician
During the online talk, your physician asks for a physical examination considering your health condition. You will not be requested to pay an additional examination fee if you visit the physician for a physical examination. There will be no reimbursement if you are not able to visit the physician for a physical examination.
If Your Physician Writes a Prescription
Your physician may write a prescription if they deem necessary, and you may quickly receive your prescription on your phone through TMC e-mail or sms service; you take hygiene measures for yourself and your loved ones by not using a printed prescription.
If a Radiological Examination is Requested
In case your physician decides that a radiological examination is required (X-ray, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance etc.), you are expected to get these examinations from the nearest healthcare center available to you or from a TMC healthcare institution if you travel to Turkey, and submit the results thereof to your physician via e-mail.
If a Laboratory Test is Requested
In case your physician requests a laboratory test;
You are expected to get these laboratory tests from a healthcare institution available to you or from a TMC healthcare institution if you travel to Turkey, and submit the results thereof to your physician via e-mail.
Online Talk for Check
If you request for a check, you may have it on an online video talk. In such case, our call center creates an “Appointment for Online Video Talk for Check”. Before the check appointment, you are expected to have submitted the radiology examinations and laboratory tests etc. if any as may be requested by your physician. The check talk takes 15 minutes.
